Change begins with listening

Support is always bespoke, because every autistic child, young person, and family has a unique lived experience.

As both an autism specialist and a parent, I understand how isolating this journey can feel. That sense of being alone is something I hear echoed by many of the families and young people I work with, and it’s something no one should have to carry on their own.

While the support I offer will vary depending on your needs, one thing remains constant: I work alongside you, at your pace, with care, understanding, and respect.

How support works

I work nationally online, and am Cambridgeshire-based for face-to-face support.

We begin with an initial, complimentary conversation to explore how I may be able to support you. This can take place by phone, online, or by email, whichever feels most comfortable. I offer flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends where needed.

Ways I may support you

Support is always shaped around your family, and may include:

1:1 Family Mentoring

Personalised guidance to support both home life and education, blending practical advice with emotional understanding. This may include:

  • Supporting families who are questioning whether their child may be autistic and/or PDA
  • Guidance when school attendance becomes difficult
  • Helping families better understand autistic needs
  • Advocacy and support with external services

This offers a joined-up, whole-family approach.

Diagnostic report guidance

With lived experience of how limited post-diagnostic support can be, I offer guidance to help you understand reports and translate them into meaningful, practical support. This can be a one-off session, or part of ongoing work.

EHCP support

Guidance and support throughout the Education, Health and Care Needs Assessment process, from initial application through to a final EHCP.

Ad Hoc specialist support

Sometimes what’s needed most is a safe, independent space to reflect and think things through. This support offers non-judgemental, tailored guidance when:

  • Something specific has happened and you want help deciding next steps
  • You need advice without committing to ongoing support
  • You want clarity around a particular situation

Fees

During our initial conversation, I take time to understand your situation so that support and fees are tailored to your needs. This ensures you’re not paying for services you don’t need.

Fees start from £40 per hour, with flexibility based on circumstances. Ongoing or face-to-face support is offered via a tailored quote.

Any ongoing work is reviewed regularly, allowing us to reflect on progress, reassess priorities, and agree further support only where it feels helpful. This keeps costs transparent, flexible, and within your control.

I strongly believe that access to support should not be limited by finances. Please don’t let concerns about fees stop you from getting in touch, we can explore options that feel practical and appropriate for your circumstances.

Looking ahead

As BEAM Inclusion develops, I hope to expand this work to include small workshops, 1:1 work with autistic young people, peer support spaces, and a space for alternative learning pathways.

These ideas reflect the values at the heart of this work: inclusion, understanding, and supporting young people to thrive in ways that truly work for them.

If you’re wondering whether this support might be helpful for your family, you’re welcome to get in touch for a free, no-obligation conversation.
